Rough Trade East – Live In Store
We’ve been invited to play at Rough Trade East in London, this coming Tuesday (8th March). It’s part of the 40th Anniversary of the Rough Trade Shop.
The whole event will be hosted by Thurston Moore and features an ‘In Conversation’ with The Raincoats, and author/poet Lavinia Greenlaw.
There will also be DJ sets from Jeff Barrett (Heavenly Records) and Simon Raymonde (Bella Union), plus 1965’s very own James Endeacott.
It’s all to coincide with a new journal – A celebration of 40 years of an iconic music company’s existence, told through the stories of over 100 contributors from the world of music, literature, art and film featuring exclusive content from Brian Eno, Viv Albertine, Josh T Pearson, Jarvis Cocker, Mark Ronson, Bill Drummond, John Grant, Kate Tempest,The Raincoats, David Shrigley, Green Gartside and many more. With jacket illustration from London based art collective Le Gun and a foreword from Thurston Moore, whose Ecstatic Peace Library imprint are co-publishers.
Black Peaches will be playing live around 9pm x
